If you have multiple domains, you'll want to go with a Virtual Private Server provider (starts at $5.95/mo).

There's a good review of providers at http://www.unlimitedhostland.com

Good luck!
References :
http://www.unlimitedhostland.com

In my opinion, the price should not be the first thing to consider when looking web packages. Most of the really cheap web hosting companies out there oversell their packages to maximize their servers. The problem is that once the subscribers maximizes their account, it won't be long before the server would be overloaded thus affecting your own hosting service.

Others just do loss leading to be able to generate enough revenue in the shortest period of time. These companies usually require at least 2 years of subscriptions. But in general from my own experience $4/month for 25-100 mb accounts are pretty affordable. Again, you should also consider the type of service and support that you will be getting.

You can do this by asking around inf web hosting forums
References :
www.cidhosting.net

at $7.70 a month it'll be difficult to beat Yahoo!
I was paying $10 a month with some other hosting, then one day they went down for two days which lost me $700!!!
That was the day I switched to Yahoo and I ain't changing any more.
References :
http://YahooHostingComparison.gsx1.com

I've used several different providers and stopped at ReliableSite.net ( http://www.reliablesite.net ). Page loads with them are quick, the site is always up, and support is great.
References :
http://www.reliablesite.net/v3/shared.asp

If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months' time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account.

I would like to suggest following webhosting which I use, they are excellent.

Hostmonster http://www.hostmonster.com/track/ryukenden/

They offer hosting of "unlimited domains" and you will get massive webspace of 300000 MB (300 GB ). They only charge $5.95/month and they offer "a free Domain Name" and installing service called "Fantastico". By using Fantastico, you could create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer "Free Website Builder" as well.
Visit the site to check details.
